Liklukt: The Smell of a Dead Death Metal Band

Liklukt is in my meaning a great and underrated Death Metal band. They have only released some few demos, and it does seem like they have called it a day, since their website has not been updated since 2007. But has i have said, they are/were great. Overall their style can be described as Brutal Death Metal with some Black Metal touches.

This was their demo from 2005, Sons of Svalbard. In my meaning not as great as their future releases, but still pretty great. It includes samples from a Norwegian movie, i do believe that it is Orions Belte. A good release, but not anything amazing.

This is in my meaning their best release. Trapped on The Seabed creates an aura of amazing Death Metal. If Chuck Norris had been an album, this would have been it. It Starts with a great first track called Leviathan of The Deep, a song that would inspire most people to kill something around them that isn't cool at all. The rest of the songs are all great, but none of them manage to create the superiority that LoTD has and creates.

Last came their demo Into The Deep, a good release, just not as good as the previous one.

You can download these demos at their website.
